Bye Bye 02 WRX....

Question Three sets of tires??

Hey all, im in the northeast, so it gets cold in the fall and we could have some chance for alot of snow. Right now i have summer tires and also has pilot sport a/s.

Question: Would dedicated snow tires be alot better in the snow to justify only putting then on for snow storms and using the pilot sport's for the rest of the time??

thanks much

I have Nokian WR snow tires. They are really an all seaon that also has a snow endorsement. They seem like they would fit what you need a in a tire very well. They perform better than the stock RE92s in all conditions and grip better in snow than any all season by far.

I run the WR as my winter tire here in VT - no problem with deep snow. The most difficult conditions are really slushy wet snow and/or ice and the WR is best thing out there short of a fully studded Hak 2.

Good luck.
