Need advice on alarm system
Hi, I just bought a 2002 wrx and the previous user never installed an alarm on it... I was wondering what's a good alarm to install. Are the factory subaru alarms any good? They are definitely the cheapest.
If I don't get the factory alarm I am probably going to get a paging system, is compustar or clifford better for this type of alarm? Any advice will be helpful, thx in advance.

Before deciding on what alarm you want it's important to think about the kinds of features you need. Try a search to help you figure out what you think you need. The advantage of after market alarms is the ability to expand greatly on the basic system. Types of sensors, range of the receiving antenna, paging ability (feedback from the alarm).
The disadvantage is they are difficult to purchase online if you intend a self install. |
