Default SAFC help

Hey guys I picked up my buddy's SAFC yesterday and we haven't installed it yet. I got the wiring diagram also today. But what i need help on is to configure this thing so it does it's job and makes the suby faster. I got a 04 WRX stock. Can anyone help me at all like telling me certain fuel ratios i should use for best performance etc...

Is there anyone else out there who has one of these bad boys on their rex who want to help me let me know!

I know jack all about this thing so i'm going to do some research when i get the time but for now this is my only question.

I have an SAFC II in my car. You won't make your car nay faster w/ this. Unless your running rich someplace in your RPM band. Than you can lean it out al little. I had my tuned w/ a data looger. I was running lean from 2,000- to 3,500 because of my ARC intake box. You have to see if your car is running rich or lean through the RPM band. Than you can correct it accordingly.

If you don't have a wideband and an egt gauge, I wouldn't fool with it yet. Like stated above, you have to know what your af is before you can do anything.
