2005 Baja Turbo

Default More Mod Talk

I installed Perrin IC hoses today. Next on tap is a crank pulley that I'm waiting to arrive.

I'm basically following Vishnu's upgrade path: (first motor mods are their ECU reflash, uppipe and crank pulley). I've been in touch with them and they are beta testing their ECU reflash for the Baja Turbo and will have it ready by the end of the month, they say.

Meanwhile, I ordered a cat-back exhaust from Xcceleration (made by Random Tech), which is the only one I've found for the Baja. It should be here by the end of the month and I'll report back on what I find in fit/finish/results.

If all goes to plan, the cat-back will go on, the ECU will be reflashed, and that will be it for motor mods. Vishnu says this set up will be 300-310 HP.

Cool, everyone post up their results when you get them on!

How were your experiences with Xceleration?
