Outback Sport KYB GR-2's for wagon problems.

I recently installed KYB GR-2 and Eibach Springs both Wagon specific, and after the install the front struts would make a "clunk" noise pulling out of a parking space slowly(or any 10 mph turning) and it occurs over speedy bumps also. Another thing is that the steering wheel would sort of lock up towrds the direction that I'm turning after the "clunk" sound. I have had time to have my car alinged yet, so I'm not sure if thats the problem or it's something else, any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

The locking steering sounds like you installed the conical washer upside down between the upper spring perch and the top hat. Also, did you make sure you properly aligned the upper spring perch with the strut properly? I just fixed a botched "profesionally installed" set of Prodrives yesterday. The owner complained of lots of noise from his Prodrives. Turns out the upper spring perch was installed 180 degrees in the wrong direction. Idiots.
