Default What size and brand of tires would you recommend for 18's?

I've ordered a set of 18x8 Crimson K6 wheels and had thought about getting 235/40 Goodyear Eagle F1 gs-d3 tires but I'm interested in running a wider tire. I'm at stock ride height so what would you recommend in the way of a 245 or bigger tire? I don't want to roll the fenders if I don't have to.

i always say 225-40-18 to stay close to stock diameter, but if you are going wider, i wouldnt get anything wider than 245. those goodyears are pretty nice. other than that there are toyo t1-s, michelin ps2, bridgestone s-03, bfg kd, those are pretty standard *good* tires.

I have Toyo t1-s and love them. Great wet and dry traction. as far as size, i think 245 is about the max you will be able to go.
