Default pulled the plug wire

For Cly 1 it seems when the car runs it has a relay that clicks on in the car, and if the car is reved to around 4200 or so, the Tach drops to Zero and the car is limited until the relay cuts off again which is about a second.

I was just curious..

I'm going to be pulling the plugs out next month, and when I was going to check the plugs before the wire pulled right out of the Rubber boot, just curious to see what would happen if I was driving.
