Default Single lug wheels

I tried to google and forum search....i guess my searching skills suck.

Please give me as much info on single lug wheels as you can possibly give:

custom or not custom
could i get them for an STi
what else need to be done in order to have a single lug setup

single "lug" wheels... do you mean the C-hub(?) ones like the race cars have? if so....

you'll need NEW wheel hubs and brake rotors to accomodate the wheel mounting hub, it requires a high amount of torque to tighten the locking nut on properly, good luck finding places with a tire mount/balance machine with the right adapters to properly work on center-mounted wheels...

overally, a LOT of hassle...

-quick wheel changes for race teams with pit crews and high power impact wrenches (however, I doubt you have your own pit crew)
-weight savings due to less overall material in the wheel (wow maybe you'll save 1/2 lb)
-nobody will be able to steal your wheels.
