Question Tuners

I've contacted a couple of "Tuners" to get their takes on some simple mods - wheels, tires, suspension work and have not received any replies. Wondering what anyone else's experience has been looking for general info from "Tuners". Good, bad. ???

depends on who you contact and how. i know that some of them are pretty sketchy when it comes to responding to email. people on this board can help, too, answering general questions.

On my Legacy are the following mods.

KYB AGX struts (Great I highly recommend these) Buy the ones that fit the 99 RS. They will fit our Legacy perfectly. $390 shipped

Ground Control Height Adjsutable Springs (Brand new but seem to work great. If you order these demand the adjustment wrench. This setup is advertised as if you can just reach in and rotate the springs to adjust the height with no wrench needed. Not the case. Demand the wrench or the rears will be stuck.) $400

Whiteline 18-22mm sway bar-I don't have this yet but this would be my choice. $150

Cobb Short Shifter- This is a great shifter, very short but remains near stock height and placement. $150?

Personally NA or Turbo I would go with this Brullen Exhaust

If you are planning NA I would hold out for a rumored up and coming intake that is shaped like an intercooler and sits right above the throttle body. They show low end torque gains and high RPM HP gains.

Have Fun
