Default Is this setup ok?

Here is what I was thinking about doing for my SUmmer wheel setup:

Front
17x8 rota slipstream, with 225-45-07

Rear
17x8.5 slipstream with 235-45-17 ( Might need to roll fenders)

IS it ok to have wider rubber in the back on subbys?

BTW its an 04 wrx.

Thanks
RIch

No, that is definitely not OK and will fry your center diff in short order.

RTFM - tires need to be within 1/4" rolling circumference.

P.S. If you wanted bigger tires on either end, the proper way would be to put bigger tires on the front. You don't need any more grip on the rear end of any Impreza.

There was a white wrx in Super street a few months ago that had wider wheels up front but the same size tires. Check it out if you can. The article had a white EK civic, white evo and white wrx.
