VOLK TE37 18inch fitment queries
hey guys,
did a search but came up empty. Ive found some secondhand volk rims and was wondering if anyone knew that they cleared the sti brembos. here is the information on the rims : Rays Engineering Volk TE37's 18x7.5 in Bronze They are 18 x 7.5 all round, 5 x 100 with an offset of +48. any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont want to buy them and find that they dont fit. Regards

Without a spacer, the rims will not clear the brembos

thanks for ur help, i thought this might have been the case but wanted to make sure.
Are spacers dangerous? If u increased the bolts that fixes the rim will this solve the problem? |

spacers..
as long as its a hubcentric spacer, and you have enough bite on the studs (longer ones arent a bad idea)
then you are fine...normally we use h&r wheel spacers... many people will argue that they cause unneeded stress on wheel bearings and such, but we personally have never seen a problem....we ran them on many cars.... chad b |

hmm. wheel bearing failures? is this an expensive problem if it occurs?
Also how much are these hr hubs? should u weld it to the wheel for more strength? sorry about all these noob questions. thanks in advance |

I know for CERTAIN that other VOLKS of the same specs will clear the aftermarket Brembo kit....not sure about compatibility with 04+ WRX's/STi's and/or the gold OEM Brembos though. |
