Default 19" volk TE37...on 2005 sti

wow...hee he...i have pics...want them?

hee he...

The car looks awesome, waiting on our RSS coilovers...any day now....

245/35-19 on the 8.5....

thing that amazed me was the weight...and how true the wheels were...two of them didnt even require wheel weights when they were dynamically balanced.

Default i need to have my webguy post them on my site..

i dont care if people dont like 19's lol...

we've been doing them for years... tire technology is advanced enough to allow for comfortand performance oriented driving, without the risk of bending wheels much more than 18's...

also, we dont use 215/35 sized tires, using a 245/35 provides a nice square sidewall and some rim band protection...

ill make sure i can get pics up asap...

i have a pic we just snapped a few hours ago with my cell, who can host it?

Default lol..

hee he..

like i said..sorry...i've been super busy (working on our water/air...baby is due anyday...and i just moved in a new house)...

I Promise ill have good pics next week week of both...

The offset is 43mm and they are a 19x8.5...

there is huge brake clearance...on the sti......

the rear fitment is perfect....front's are a tiny bit aggressive, but they will be fine when the car has some negative camber in it...

measuring the car on our level based shop floor with our digital camber gauge we got .4 degrees negative right now, dropping that to 1-1.2 negative should give us the clearance we need...

once again we are running a 245/35-19 bridgestone S03 (thanks bridgestone)...so we didnt squeeze a tiny tire onto a wide rim....I wouldnt want to run 19's without adequate tires to boot....I think putting a 215 or 225 on an 8.5...or even a 235 for that matter is not proper....we like to maintain a square sidewall profile in order to maintain ridequality while utilizing the tires ability to run high pressures (around 46-50 psi)....

anyway...

enough rambling...

more pics asap...i promise..

Default like anything else...

esepcially in wheels, it depends on the offset of the wheel...and the wheels design...you could have a wheel with a more positive (towards the outter lip) offset...and it may not fit because of the spoke design...

the te37 is aggressive on fitment...(a 19x8.5 with 47 would probably be perfect for most people with stock brakes)...we went with a 8.5 and 43mm hoping to have enough clearance for our 355mm stoptechs..

i have good pics...

who wants to host them for me?

or email me for them

[email protected]

thanks guys

chad b

also have pics of the water/air intercooler
