Whats the widest tire for a 7.5" rim
I have 225/40/18 all the way around with prodrive lowering springs, everything works great. I am looking to go up to a 19" rim in the back and would like to know how wide of tire i can get on the back.
I was thinking 235/35/19 but 245 would be great if they fit and would i need any camber kits or things like that THANKS imprezkid ps. dont worry about the clear tail lights there gone when i get a chance

Right, not a good idea... but what about a wider rim in the back? Say 18x7.5 upfront and 18x8 in the rear....

That's like a civic having rear slicks and front skinnies... And no, you can't fit a 245 on a 7.5" rim. You can BARELY, if safely at all, fit a 235 on a 7.5" rim. Just buy some 18 X 8 superlegerras and put some 245 Azenis on them, then you'll be pimpin'. |

245/40/17 will fit had them on my SSR's. 235/40/17 will also fit had them on the same rims. if you adjust your camber you can, but i will eat up your tires. the above sizes were victor racers and v700 that I use for autox. |

It is also not necessary to adjust camber to insane levels to get 245's to fit. A proper offset wheel and at most fender rolling is all that is necessary. Adjusting the camber just to fit a wider tire defeats the purpose of running a the wider tire. |
