Subaru Stars i need clarification

first off...ive read almost all the stickys so im not just being lazy by asking this...im just trying to make sure what im getting will work...

im going to get 17x7.5 rota subzeros... now is a 48mm offset ok? ppl are saying anything between 47 and 53? i dont ever see a 53 mm offset offered..

the tires im going to get.. are bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw-2. so with a 7.5 rim..do i want a 225 tire? and is this rim/tire combination going to work nicely with no rubbing? i am just trying to confirm that what i want to get is not going to give me problems since i am buying it online and wont have a chance to see it until it is at my door and i dont want to have to deal with returns and all that crap. thanks in advance for replies...

ur fine. Rays, Volks, Prodrive are makes that have 53 offsets, MANYMANY people have run rotas 17x7.5 wheels on a 48 offset with no problem. 225 width is fine for a GD body. enjoy.

Got another question here, the Stock STi BBS stated it's offset is 53mm; So how come rims like Torque has offset like 48 works? So what is the min offset for the STi?
