Most of the Team ARG! guys are going to be in attendance at the Wendover ProSolo, but i'd like to know who else is planning on making the trip?

I seem to recall Cobb saying he was coming in an earlier thread.

Please say there is going to be more than just the usual Utah Subarus. I know Priebe is coming out to co-drive a Subaru, but that is not enough. We need more Subaru dominance. I want to see some SM Subarus beat up on the S4's and Patty Tunnel in the M3. Not an easy task I realize, but it would be nice to see it given a try.

Unhappy Cobbs attendance/ Suby domination

I don't think just because I will be there will mean Suby domination. Noah Brandon and Billy Brooks have been going real fast in their subies!! I would say they have held up the Subies extremely well and will be tough to beat. It will also be tough to beat Steve Wynne in the neon, after all he has won the pro championship the last two years. Hopefully one of us Subie guys can turn the table on that. Billy, Erik, Noah, Richard, etc all are in there for the Championship.

Unfortunately Cobb will not be able to make the event.

I know Trey and Chris would have loved too, but I think taking the time would have been difficult.

The COBB WRX is getting really good!! The alignment and rear spring rates are more fine tuned than Lubbock. Not to mention a little thing called more power!!

The car is great on smooth courses like Lubbock and Wendover, but struggles some on the bumps (or banking) that Peru has. Trey and Chris, of course, have already taken the steps to remedy this situation.

But hey this is what developing a car is about. Keep tinkering till you get everything right!! I find it exciting to see what COBB team has already learned and developed in such a short period of time!!

It will be interesting to see at Nationals!! The COBB WRX has already come along way and will continue to do so.

hey brian, me and co-driver tom berry brought out a 00 2.5 RS this past weekend to toy around besides driving my miata in BS..i was impressed with the subie; i think i kinda sucked since tom ran it almost a second faster than me..i had gary thomason riding with me, helping me out with the car as well as my driving..we had a ball..a lot of tire screeching; the stock re92s were really crying..it's kinda like our next project car; i don't think we'll actually bring out to any national events- it's just for fun..
i think tom is having too much fun in BS to try STS..he wants peter raymonds head on a platter..not literally of course..i think it'll be fun in Topeka, esp if u r running that spyder..
so we'll see you in wendover..look for a silver miata..

Default another subie!

It is nice to see another person crossing over some.

Ya'll should come and play in STS or even next year the 2.5 has a good stock class proposal. Your co-driver is extremely good, so I would not hang your head to low. I would love to run against Tom again. He is a nice guy, which also makes you have your A game.

Easy on Peter. he is also a very nice guy also, who is tough to beat. Peter in my opinion deserved the Nats he had last year. He has had some unfortunate luck at Nats over the past few years, and finally shook the cloud.

Hope to see you guys in Wendover

Brian

I'll be at Wendover, as a Pro Solo rookie. Coming over with Steve Wynn, hoping to learn the ropes.

I'll be running G-stock in my silver '99 RS.

GS is a tough class with those dang ITR's but good luck. It is always fun no matter how you do anyway. Steve is pretty cool, he seems to be one of the more level headed STS guys, and a hell of a consistently fast driver. He seems to get great runs every time he hits the course. The rest of take a few "practice" runs before we get fast.

Where are you and Steve staying?

I believe we are staying at the motel 6. Looking to arrive early afternoon Friday, in time to check-in, get over to the course, and do a few practice starts. This will be my first christmas tree and concrete event.
