What's that on your hood?

Question Free products to test and rate, are these places legit???

Excuse my ignorance but I am just curious.

I have been getting emails lately from a few different groups about recieving products for free (Razor phone, Vaio laptop) And aparently all I would have to do is to rate them and fill out some survey, I'm sure many of you are getting them. Some of the companies are the Consumer Research Corporation and Market Survey Group.

It seems too good to be true...I know if it seems to good to be true it usually is... but I had some spare time at work the other day and looked up a few of the companies, they are registered with the Better Business Bureau, this makes me second guess my intuition that it is a scam.

Has anyone ever had any experience with these groups actually sending them free stuff. What's the catch? Or am I just on some mass email list trying to get me to register with some marketing company?

I can't believe that they would hand out products already on the market for free , But if they are legit sign me up!

They may be legit.
I was contacted a couple of years ago by a company that asked if I would drive and rate concept cars and be paid. I thought it was BS but I have done 10-12 drive sessions over the past 2 years and made an extra couple grand.

Not any more they're not.

If they are not front for terrorist orgs trying to disrupt commerce, at the very least they are trying to steal your identity for everything from spam to forged passports.
