Default Factory WRX axle back vs. STI axle back

Does anyone know if there is a design diff between them or is the piping on the sti larger?

I'm running a 3"TBE now with a blitz nur spec catback also cobb stg 2
I want to have the stock apearence though, Does anyone know if I put a sti axle back on how much hp I would loose?? or if I would have to much back pressure for the stg 2 map

get one custom fabricated to retain 3". get the largest straight-through muffler that will fit and just paint it it black. finish off with a mild tip. the sti axle-back is 2.5".

Don't expect to lose much, and you can still run stage 2 (some people are running stage 2 with just a short DP and all rest stock). Diameter is the same, not sure about design. May want to consider borla hush twip tip also.
