Default radiator replacement options

ok, looks like i got the dreaded leak between the plastic end tank and the core. it's extremely slow, so i'm not in a big rush for a new radiator. questions are, can it be repair? if so, is it worth the cost to repair?

if not repair, should i get another stocker(from an '03)? this would provide the easiest route as it's a direct drop in. iirc, it's the cheapest of the radiator as well.

or should i fork out some extra cash for an aftermarket, something like a speed monkey or a koyo? this would cost more, but would be better overall for my cooling system. however, i do not have, nor do i plan on ever reaching power level which requires this extra cooling capability. i'd only be doing for piece of mind.

btw, can't go to the dealer on this one, pasted my warranty period...me's '02's got 75k miles.

I just went with a Speedmonkee unit when my radiator started to show signs of leakage. You get better cooling performance with an aftermarket radiator. . .especially if you have a modified engine.

I think I've seen Kyoto or Koyo (sp?) all aluminium radiators for ~$370 (group buy), most of these plastic end tank radiators have a max life of 10 years before they start cracking at the main hose connections.
