Default ECU Re-flashing/EMU

I just recently bought a 02 wrx wagon and am looking to do some upgrades. I've heard from several people to start with a re-flash of the ECU or some type of EM system to get the most out of any upgrades. I'm looking for some insight as to what company and specific products the all-wise and knowledgeable tuners using these forums can provide. Cobb AP, Vishnu, Unichip, others? Not sure where to start.

AP, for beginers, you'll be pleased, plus it's cheaper than most others. and accesstuner's coming out, it'll offer the tunability of other ems.

just done the stg2 flash on my car, now i can honestly say that my car's fast. (comparing to the faster cars i've driven before)

I have an Injen RD1205 Cold air intake. Will this work with any of the existing Cobb maps?

http://www.cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport/

read the map notes carefully befure you upload your maps. They are very mod specific, going out of the suggested mods may cause damage to your vehicle and you will come back here and post how crappy Cobb is (look in engine management forums) and try to start a revolution or something. I believe that there is a map for an injen intake but it is only for stage 2 which means you need a TBE. Goodluck to you.
