Default Accessport with Delta Dash

Hey guys. A buddy of mine might be purchasing a delta dash system for his WRX. I would like to use it (DD can operate with 3 ECU versions if I am correct) but Im curious as to the effects of running the AP. Ive heard that the AP changes the ECU version, but does it do this each time I change a map? Hope I make sense with this question, thanks guys. -Chris

Do a search, I've seen this question asked and answered before. . . .I'd answer it but I can't remember what the answer was

I believe "crazymike" (sn) has DD with the AP. Try pming him if you have no luck with your search.

You may also want to wait until the street tuner comes out, it'll have datalogging capabilities. IF you can wait

Did someone say my name?

Once you use an AccessPort, your ECU type will be changed. It doesn't change each time you reflash, though. It will stay changed even after unmarrying at this point. If you look at post #179 here,
Trey explains it all. He also talks about something that will allow a user to change the ECU type on an AccessPort by AccessPort basis.

Also, just for future search purposes:

Hope this helps.
