I'll be there! running my '99RS in g-stock. Have not run in Bremerton before, so it should be a new experience.

Looking forward to seeing all the Subies!

Default Come On, It'll Be Fun" (tm)

Updated entry list now shows 158 drivers, not including some notable local slackers like... umm well... me. It's in the mail, I promise.

GS looks like Subaru Town, 3 WRX (soon 4, may be 5), 2 RS. 1 Type R and 1 SHO to round things out Two more RS in STS as well.

Entered in Subies are some Real Stars like Paul "Primitive" Eklund in GS,and a surprise to me is Rick McDaniel, umpteen time National Champ, in STS.
There is the usual dearth of Califomians, I count 6 total in all classes Perhaps their entries are held up at the border, I gotta believe it's not any harder a trip than bringing a CSP Miata down from Calgary! We sent 35 drivers down to Sacramento for their Divisional in June, I was handily trounced by an RS as well as most of the rest of the class in case you wonder why I didn't mention that earlier, maybe the other 34 scared them

Thumbs up

Count me in! I'm in GS. And (unlike slackers) I'm on the posted entry list.

Chris, Sean - When are y'all heading north? Convoy? I was going to go up early on Friday and get in a couple runs on the Test 'n Tune course. I've run Bremerton - lots of space, but I haven't been there in the dry. I've heard its almost a must to get there Friday night. The schedule only shows 1 hour of tech time on Saturday morning. That's a time cruncher.

It looks like GS works 2 and runs 5. STS got switched to run 2 work 4.

Oh, boy! I can't wait. Gonna get kicked in the bum. Gonna get kicked in the bum.

I assume they will post a"final" entry list tomorrow showing all last minute entries(Me), and those attempting to hide thier evil (Type R)intent
I wouldn't be suprised if there are 100 more entries (for a total of 250+)
Not all will be Subies of course

I talked with Kevin McCormick on Thursday and he said he plans on attending with his Type R.

Well, if Kevin is going to be there with his Type R, I won't even be close enough to taste his fumes. I guess its better to get beaten by the best than it is to never face the best.

We'll have to have somebody taking video of his runs and our runs. I'm going to try to have a camera person out there to do some filming. Hopefully we can get Sean to do the same.

Still anxiously awaiting the whipping I deserve.

"I talked with Kevin McCormick on Thursday..."

So it was YOU!
I was going to tell him the event was canceled, or moved to Moose Jaw , I forget which.

My last hope is working the gate Friday PM...maybe I can still stop the carnage
Or I might have better luck running ESP

Chris,

Thanks for posting the results for Nat'l Tour so quickly!!!

1st-4th Integra Type R's
5th-10th WRX's
11th&12th Audi TT's
13th&14th 2.5RS's
15th Mercury Cougar
16th Taurus SHO

Or is that not quite what you meant?

It looks to be very competitive. Maybe not for the top spot, but in the middle of the pack (5th-12th) it should be very tight. So, who is going to let the air out of Kevin's tires? Or maybe it should be Chris who has the air let out of his tires because he talked to Kevin?

See y'all this weekend.

Unhappy

Don't underrate that Cougar(or yourself). It's not your father's Cougar, driven by one of our best drivers. AND it's a proper retina scorching Yellow Its major weakness will be running on Goodrich tires.
There's going to be a battle here

We'll know soon enuff...

And we shouldn't forget that a Taurus SHO is a competent car when driven properly. I do keep hearing good things about that Cougar and its driver. There really are no serious underdogs in this field. That's what going to make this sooo much fun!

So do we have any guesses for the real finishing order? No one want to jinx themselves? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess the winner will be (drum roll) Kevin McCormick. After that, I've got no clue.

I figure I'll finish in the 2nd quarter of the entries (5th-8th.) My tire handicap is huge (A032R's) but I'm really learning how to drive the car.

"My tire handicap is huge(A032R's) but..."

As the weather here deteriorates even faster than the weekend approaches, your handicap shrinks
If it's actually raining, Dog forbid, when we're running you'll be in the hunt.

Eye-gor:"Could be worse..."

Dr. Frankenshteen "How?!"

Eye-gor "Could be raining "

I'm well aware and hoping for a gully washer!

On the other hand, I hate working the course in the rain.

May the Schwartz be with you!
