Default air splitter/sealing options for GC8 TMIC?

I have a GC8 with a USDM swap and JDM STi IC and have tried a few USDM splitter ducts but am not happy with the way they work and look.
Without major fabricating, where can I buy a good duct system for a GC8 hood to marry to an STi IC and give me a good tight seal with the air flowing in. Does anyone sell a good GC8 splitter or do I have to make something work.
Also, has anyone used heat resistant foam, insulation or rubber to seal the IC for maximum air intake into the IC.
I want a good seal and don't want a fire or melting hazard under the hood.
I would be curious to see what other swappers have done under their hoods.
Of Course pics are worth a thousand words too.

Go with the stock wrx hood splitter and duct work. I have one on mine and have the usdm wrx engine with stock intercooler and it works perfect. It just bolts up where the stock solid cover was on my 99 2.5rs. Subaruparts.com has the full setup for like $60 bucks not including shipping. Try this link: http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?mod...category=910-1 . Cut and past on your browser. Hope this helps, you may have to use the Sti setup, not sure if the Sti I/C is any taller than the wrx I/C. Call Subaruparts.com and compare the parts for the two.

So which part would I really need? I've got an AVO intercooler and definitely need an air splitter that works...
