Got a question,
What is the number of the octane you can fun in subies. is it 87, 89, 92, or what. Also I am still looking for ways to upgrade my car both mechanically and cosmeticly.

I don't understand what you're asking? The octane requirements depends on the car. Not all of them are the same.

you can run whatever octane you want. Your car works like this: It feels knock or misfires and it pulls timing / boost / and (or) adds fuel. This will decrease your power. The higher octane gas you run the less chance you are going to have detonation/missfires/knock and the more timing / boost / lean fuel conditions your car's ecu will run. Your cars ECU will not adjust immediately. So dont put in 94 octane and think OMG *** ITS NOT THE FAST right away. You probably wont even notice it because it changes over several tanks. This is true up to a certian point -- where the stock ECU will max out. If you run something aftermarket, you can generally set your parameters wherever you want.

Short answer: Run the highest octane you can afford.

All go and no show...

The '92 Legacy Touring wagon (turbo) is premium only. So depending on where you live that's a minimum of 91 octane. I run Ultra 94 exclusively on street myself. Like Rob said, I'd run the highest octane you can.
