Default Legacy ej22t efficiency

hey guys.. i searched htis several times but came up with too much garbage. I plan on doing a swap into my 95L and was curious to the efficiency of the ej22t legacy turbo motor. how mcuh hp can i obtain easily with that engine. thanks

You might try looking at bbs.legacycentral.org I doubt you will find many dyno runs.

with my intercooler, boostcontroller, exhaust/intake mods... about 185whp (avg. gtech).. at 11/12psi

goes 12.387 @ 116.5


I am making 152-160 whp running 7psi on a 1990 NA block. When I add another 2-3 psi and engine management I expect to get close to 200 whp.

define easily.

axxis uses the blocks for their stage 4 motors.

with the correct heads they will make over 300 and up to 300 with stock heads.

but thoes numbers dont come easy nor do they come cheap. you also have to find something to control the amount of fuel you will need to get that power.

speed costs money, how fast do you want to go

And finding injectors for these motors is a pain, though we're slowly figuring out what works and what doesn't.
