Default Settings on your XEDE, what are they?

I just got an XEDE and I downloaded the basemap (stage 1 WRX) from the website. What settings under special features-(control source) are you using/or should use? (i.e. RPM, TPS, etc).

Also, is the box below that checked? (which says something like log-based for MAF....)

Default hah, hah, there's no xede love here...

Special Features are for water or additional fuel injection, basically just a driven output. Those settings you refered to are the trigger points. Realistically you probably won't be monkeying with anything in the Special Features menu. I can't answer your 2nd Q because it requires me connecting to the xede, and I'm lazy now...

If you want to even think of playing with the xede, you need to seriously self educate. Read the xede help file. It will learn you the basic principles of operation and manipulation. Just remember one thing; you are trying to lie and fake out a very pissy ecu. Some days you can make it really happy, others are a real let-down. A reflash would make a more consistant platform to tune off of.

I would love to play with an xede on an older mitsubishi. It would be a potent mod on a 2gen eclipse. Basically it's the s-afc from hell. I think I'm going to put my xede in a turbo'd 2gen crx for simple boost control, and tuning the map sensor while using the voltage/signal clamp abilities. We'll see about that later...

Sorry to go off. I have 2 xedes in 2 rexs, and I know why there is no love, but hey, what can you do?

later, x

Unless you can find/make a proper crank signal profile to upload to the Xede, I don't know if that would work (XMap version 3 has separate firmware and crank signal files).
