Default Cobb Stage 2 HWG???

I have heard of people who are having trouble reaching target boost after installing a TBE and Cobb Stage 2/93. Some have advised to load Stage 2 93HWG as the real time map. What is HWG, and how is it different from the standard stg 2/93 v1.03?

did this to my car. I was only hitting about .9mpa in 3rd and .105 from there up. I changed to the hwg map and now I am at .11 in 3rd and .12 on. More importantly the boost comes on faster. I am not sure why some cars need this map but mine has a TXS cat and the oem axel back. I think slightly more free exaust may be needed for the reg map.

I'll give that a shot. I have the Cobb DP with stock STI axle back. Maybe that's the difference????

i was hitting too much boost with the full cobb tbe, 19psi, so i switched to the lwg version and now it's closer to the target boost

I've had the same low boost problem with my 04 sti. 16psi max with stg 2/93 map. so I loaded the hwg base map yesterday-still waiting for ecm to learn but I already noticed higher boost. I'm running the factory boost gauge so it's hard to get precise boost reading in psi. I'll be out running it today, if I can get a passenger to read the live boost off the AP then I'll post my boost levels. I only hope it's not too high...

when i reflashed the car, within a handful of 2nd and 3rd gear runs, i was hitting boost of upper 14's and lower 15's psi with the stage II hwy 91 oct. i live in an area with lots of hills, i'm sure that helped my advanced multiplier hit 16 pretty fast.

but the CEL code P0139 kept showing up after a week or two, i'd reflash it with the base map, but it would come on soon after. that code is on the list of "CEL Codes Defeated [WHEN USING AS BASE MAP]" as stated on cobb's website. but i have no idea why it came on so often. i'm using the stage II 91 oct map, and things are fine, but i miss that more aggressive map. maybe its just the CA gas thats messing things up
