Default Dynamat or any other sound-deadening material

So last weekend I installed my new 6.5" speakers (didnt know the rears took smaller speakers. Horray for tin snips and hammers) and 2 10" subs powererd by a 500w amp. Now the little metal rods that control the door locks are rattling whenever the bass kicks. Would it be worth while to dynamat the inside of my doors? While I'm at it I should put some under the carpeting in the front cabin area. Any known trouble spots for sound leakage (trunk area (i have wagon) rear floor etc)?
