one of my buddies has a miata, we always make fun of his "sexuality".

the best is when the owner actually starts acting gay next to a large v8 car witha redneck type person in it, i am from teh south. the owner of the v8 gets pissed and trys to outrun the miata. miata comes back with over 300 horsepower at the wheels, lol and dusts the v8, if i can get traction.

he has the 1.6 to 1.8 liter swap and full turbo kit, beast of a car, it is known as the "lemon"

Why????

Quote:
The mazda mx5 is a excellent base for this conversion kit as it is much cheeper to buy and a lot cheeper to run and maintain than a real bmw z3

Oh, I see. It's cheeper.

The Miata is just such a cute little car and given they've been made for several years they are actually easy to find for very cheap, and they can be made pretty fast.

But, I don't really think the Z3 isn't a lot more "manly" if you're worried about that... Something about a small convertible (S2000, Z3, Miata) or just "convertible sports car" just says "hot chick or gay guy."

Ya, I dont see the Z3 as a manly car either... at most a middle aged snob who has bad taste.

Nope - I love my car. Plus, I've seen the Z3 conversion up close, it's just plain awkward looking - the proportions are all wrong.

I didn't think a Miata could get any gayer, but I guess I was wrong.
