Default STi V5/6 - stock turbo inlet?

Anyone know the part number of the stock turbo inlet? Or does anyone have one laying around or for trade? I am using the Samco and it's great, but I am having surging issues because I'm running a hybrid turbo. The smaller diameter stock unit is supposed to stop it from happening by increasing the intake velocity at the compressor inlet. Anyone with a normal turbo want to trade for my Samco?

Thats the JDM part number. Not sure if you can get that locally. You may have to try a USDM Wrx/Sti one.

not sure if youstill need it. I still have mine...but I'd want to minimize downtime...but the WRX and STi engines of 99/00 were pretty much the same. I know for sure the block was identical.

What color is that samco inlet? Got any pics? I've got a Ver.7 and I believe this is the same intake your looking for. I'll have to pull it off the engine first though. Im putting fuel rails on so the intake is coming off anyway. Im probably going to go with a sz49/sz55 turbo, so hopefully the samco will fit. Just double check and make sure the intake is the same!!!!

Let me know,
Greg
