Default sti oem downpipe VS. wrx oem downpipe

Is there any difference between an 04-05 sti oem downpipe and a 04-05 wrx oem downpipe. Does the sti breath better or is it the same setup?

i have no scientific data to back this up.. But to the naked eye.. They look identical. flat flange that bolts to the turbo, 2 cats, lots of heatshields, and its 2 peices.

The only difference i've seen between the STI exhaust and the wrx, is the uppipe and muffler section. Not sure about the header portion.

Since the STi has no uppipe cat, the downpipe cat is bigger I suppose due to LEV standards.

Double post, this gets lockage.
