Default 2.5rs brakes and wheels with 93 Impreza

If I get ahold of some 2.5rs wheels and brakes, will it be relativley easy to swap them onto my 93 Impreza? Would the brakes be worth putting on?

This is really a question for the brakes forum, but the short answer is yes to the front. The rear is a pretty serious operation that requires hubs, and lateral links to convert from drum to disc. If you do a search in the brakes forum, you will find all the info you need. I've done this conversion a few times and it takes 4-6hours. And you must get the e-brake cables with the rear hubs...

It is definatly worth it for the front. You will be going from small single piston calipers to a dual piston caliper. You will also be going to a larger diameter and thicker rotor. THe actualy pad size doesn not change. Keep in mind you will not be able to use the 14" L wheels anymore but it sounds like you are getting the 16s from the RS. My L already had the same disc brakes in the rear as an RS because i had the active safety package or whatever you call it. However if you can get the parts, swap out those drums for discs and you will be happier. With some good pads, goodridge lines and the RS brakes My car has a vast improvement over stock (Tires make a difference too).
