Default Cracked glass on driver side mirror

Anyone ever replaced the glass on the side mirrors? Someone cracked mine and I need to have it fixed to pass the state inspection. Any info would be helpful.

If APR mirrors would pass I'd say to get those, I know that's a little off the deep end but they bolt up and are awesome. I have them on my car at http://www.cardomian.com/id/sagelwwawrx As far as replacing the glass I am thinking it will require nothing more than a new piece of glass of course and some heated glue/adhesive. Hope the little bit of input helps somehow.

The mirror glass is shown on subaruparts.com for about $13. You can't beat that. I'm not sure how it is attached, but most mirror glass has a plastic bracket on the back that snaps onto the mounts on the mirror ass'y.
