Default screwed up oil change

Brought my car to a garage I always go to for an oil change today. I run synthetic and told them but the mechanic didnt read the slip right so they filled it with regular oil and then realozed the mistake after driving the car out of the garage. They then brought it back in, drained it and put the synthetic oil in. Can this cause any problems or is it no big deal?

well one time i changed my oil and i put on the new filter and didnt realize that the rubber ring from the old filter stuck to the motor. i started the car and and got out to check if there was any leaks like i always do and all 5 quarts were on the ground in like 5 seconds. i turned the car off quick like and then had a mess to clean up. 5 quarts is Alot to clean off a driveway.

Speaking of OIL Change!

Since I went with a not Cat Turbo Back Exhaust and Uppipe, IC/Hose, Intake.
I've noticed that the OIL Comsumption is much Greater? Anyone, have noticed
the same eventhouht I am running Mobil 1 full Syn.

Note: I do push the car a lot and notice a lite white smoke at Idle.

check for leaks in the uppipe, that's where a lot of leaks occur.

Dude, try changing your own oil next time. I'm a complete noob when it comes to my car (I'm learning), and I just changed it myself for the first time. Check out the write-up I did here and give it a shot yourself: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=786772

Good luck!

ahaha your oil consumption is probably greater because now with all those goodies installed I bet you push your car ALOT more

FWIW I switched to castrol syntec and my car eats pretty much no oil anymore, with 140,000km and always driven >3000rpm...
