Default electrical problems

ok check this im new to the subaru world and i dont really know much about them, because i previously owned a 94 prelude but i really liked the coupe 2.5 rs coupe so when i killed the lude i got the rs. Heres the problem, it had a radio but no face so i got a new radio and me n my friend attempted to install it. The install went fine or so we thought, but it wouldnt work and now the lite inside my car doesnt work and everytime i start my car the time starts at 1. Did I blow a fuse? Also since i got the car the drivers side door window or power lock doesnt work but i can roll the passnger side down from the drivers side door and lock the door. Another fuse? Do i need to take the door apart? any help will be greatly appreciated.

for the stereo it sounds like you mixed up the lines for illumination and constant 12V

from memory, illum is white yellow and 12V is... red/grn... no thats switched 12, well i don't remember but double check your 3 connections for 12V key ON, 12V always, and Illum

for the door, i'd check the switch in the drivers side door, make sure the connector is in properly. that switch assembly just pops out if you pry it up with something that wont scratch the crap out of the door. check the switch itself then start checking for power
if the car had an alarm system in it and it was hacked out the wiring for the door could've been messed up.
i can't remember how everything is fused for doors

correctly diagnosing any of this depends on how electrically savvy you are in your car.
