Default Newgate Results

This topic was started somewhere else, but really should be it's own topic.

Newgate was a very different course set-up than normal, a little longer, a lot less fluid and more jerky, but longer. SM had the 510 with the 300Z engine in it in first place. That car ended up in 6th PAX which is very good for SM in the Utah region. The Integra in SM was a 2nd gen Integra with a new Type R engine in it. It is set up for drag race and never does well. Like DLC said, the guy in the S4 uses hand controls therefore can't turn left very well.

STS as always was a close battle for top spot. Billy ended up winning with a 42.01 I was second with a 42.24 and Matt was 3rd with a 42.44. I think Eric was 4th in his Subaru with something like a 43.2 I think. Billy had an awesome run where he nailed the slalom, the sweeper, and the finishing turn. All of those were pretty tricky sections of this course. I nailed the slolom a couple times but never nailed the others.

PAX results were Billy in 1st, me in 2nd, a GS Bimmer in 3rd, and Matt in 4th. Top 10 included 6 or 7 STS guys.

Good job on the results. I can't believe how close STS is now-a-days.
