A/C temperature switch problem
Hi all,
I have a 93 Impreza. 2 days ago I was playing with the temperature adjustment knob when the A/C was on. I turned the temperature knob all the way to hot momentarily and turned it back to cold, a deadly mistake in summer in Houston. The temperature switch got stuck at "hot" position and keeps on blowing hot air. I can turnd the temp knob, but it has no effect. I checked the pin under the knob, and it's rotating fine. Even if I turn off the A/C and put it to "vent", I feel the hot air coming in. How can I reach to the temp control system? Is it under the dash? Thanks alot, Cem

That knob operates a cable connected to the cold/hot blend door. The bottom end connects to lever you could see in the driver's footwell, by the center console. The first thing to check is whether the cable moves, then you'll know which end needs to be repaired.
