Default Transmission oil help

hello i had the 2.5 6mt sti ....i need to know if the oil that come from the factory in the Transmission is synthetic oil or what ....i need help fast tomorrow is the drag race

The stock WRX tranny fluid is non-synthetic.

I doubt the STI fluid is synthetic, but I'm not 1100% sure. You might get better results in the Transmission/Driveline forum

the new tranny fluid in the 05+ is full synthetic, I just had my 30k maintenance done and they replaced mine with the new synthetic and it shifts so much smoother

Any chance you can get the Subaru part number for that gear oil from your dealer?
