Default WheelMax

I called to get a set of hub rings from them today. They refused to sell them to me because I didn't buy the wheels from them. I have to be a "customer" in order to buy stuff, but I can't buy this because I'm not a customer. I'll never deal with them again.

I also had a bad experience with WheelMax. I called them to ask a few questions and as soon as they found out that they might not be getting my money the guy said, "This is not an information service pal!" They also told me at the time that they don't carry hubcentric rings, nor would I need them.

I ended up buying some Excel (a WheelMax exclusive) wheels off of them through a friend because I was getting a discount. Anyway, I was disappointed with the wheels too. They were pretty heavy & strong-looking wheels and yet I bent one after about a year and it didn't take a very big impact to do it. Oh and they were wrong about the hubcentric rings. I did need them so I bought a set from Discount Tire Direct on ebay -- no problems there.
