That is horrible, I never understood how people could just steal another persons things, especially a car. Are you insured? If I were you I'd just sit and wait for the *SPOTTED* thread and once you see your car described, BAM, you got the bastard.

At least they weren't just after the car if they stole a lot more stuff from the house... ie. it's not a specific crime, just a general one. Sucks, though... hope your insurance can cover most of what is lost.

Now that sucks. I hope they catch the guy and put him in the jail with big bubba, though first get a nice paddle and have everyone get in line off the nasioc board for one really good smack, two for you cause it was your car. THat way the guy wouldn't even be able to sit down.

That sucks and I know how you feel. I would keep an eye out on the various forums, ebay, local flea markets, call local body shops, etc. They gotta unload this somewhere and I don't know how feasible or worthwile it would be to ship this stuff out of the country unless it were really expensive items. Depending on the items stolen, you might also want to call U-Hauls around your area in case they want to rent one to take all your stuff to another state.

What kind of bike did they take? I can also sympathize on that one too.

Good Luck.

It's bad when they steal your titles. They can sign the back and transfer it. Hopefully, they don't sell the car to someone. Then, that person will be screwed!! The police can monitor incoming registrations, right? I'm pretty sure your car will be registered soon in someone else's name. Then, you can call the police and go claim it!

A broken transmission, probably.

Good for you, I hope they can print it and get some good ones.

I haven't seen the car yet. Police have it at the impound. My titles and keys were stored in a old home safe. Unfortunately, the thieves stole the entire safe along with everything else. Thanks.

Make sure to ask the Tow people if they towed it with a flatbed or not. If they didn't you got a diff to replace.

Picked up the car today - tranny seems ok. I couldn't say if the tow company used a flatbed, the car drives and feels normal. The burglars banged up the bodywork in a number of places, back bumper, back passenger ding, front driver ding, also scratched the hell out of the front passenger light and surrounding area. Well- I have it back, which i the most important thing. I'm safe, no one was hurt and insurance helps with the repairs.

That sucks though what happened. It sounds like they tried to steal your light but couldn't figure out how to.

Details- so far the WRX is the only item I've recovered. I'm currently looking very hard for the bike. The WRX was found in a back alley behind 818 Camlin Ave. -near the cemetary. They dinged up the body a good deal and scratched the right headlight. Insurance quoted me $1,700 damage. I now need to find a right EDM STI light and currently need help finding my bike. A buddy saw it here in Rockford, he left and went back to find it gone. If there is anything anyone can do, I have a $500 reward to those who help recover it. Thanks.
