Default Cobb Stage 2 installed(not a street racing thread.just at the tracks)

I was wondering Cobb tuning has the dynos and times. 0-60 4.6, 1/4 13.4(average drivers).....can anyone varify this? I would like to know if i just got the uppipe/ downpipe and keep the stock catback is it possible to break 13's with a stage 2 with maybe a 13.5 or 13.6 or something? I am currently running a stage 1 93 oct right now and about to order the helix up/dp. I also saw a thread and some WRX that hit 12.9 with a full TBE and just a Cobb stage 2 map. possible? Thanks, stealthfish.

Have you run your car stock?

What time did you get?

Drive like it's stolen and you will get a low 13s 1/4 time... 100+ trap speed on stage 2 is rare believe it or not.

I have a stage 2, went to the track, but baby'd the car and have never drag raced before. I will not post my times just to save face

Let's just say 2.3 60-foots..... hahahahaha, 3500 RPM "launches" (aka bogs) won't cut it at the track, but I had fun. Even with those horrible starts, I managed to trap 95, so that shows the stage 2 has some power....

COBB Stage 2 does work. You feel it in the seat of your pants and on the dyno:

And these number were posted on a 95 degree day. I am running the COBB exhaust, COBB downpipe with cat, and K&N Air Filter. May have been expensive, but the maps work perfect as opposed to mixing and matching parts where you can run into troubles hitting target boost.

I ran a 13.5 with stage2 1.880 60ft at 101mph. If i beat the car a little more i may have gotten a 13.4 out of it.

Stage 1, uppipe, i/c hoses, turbo inlet, Cobb catback

With me in it, my car weighs 3290 lbs. I'll get dyno'd again later, but Stage 2 feels MUCH better down low.

But man NICE, VERY NICE....props to gjhsu .

Just something to compare, these are my best times to date:

Stock - 14.37 @ 93 (1.91 60')

Stock/uppipe - 13.83 @ 95 (1.85 60')

Stage 2/uppipe - 13.4 @ 100 (1.82 60')

Driver does matter. My buddy got a best of 14.1 @ 95 in an EVO.

Yeah no joke, those are incredible numbers for a COBB stage 1. I am hoping to add a downpipe soon, wonder it that will free up some extra horses. Plus the cooler temps really help especially consider how hot that tin building gets. But no hating those numbers look great and you stage 2 should be pretty damn amazing.

Haven't had mine to the dragstrip or the dyno but on a roadcourse it runs even with the low 13 second cars (STI, Evo, E46 M3) and pulls the 14 second cars pretty good. Mine's a generic Cobb stage 2 early '02 (gutted up, stromung down w/cat, stock mid pipe, and STI axle back, K&N filter).
