Insurance is kinda pricey (compared to when i lived in rural VA at least).

There are laws on window tint, but they are not enforced in Denver (i have head CO Springs may be a little more strict).
I have 13% on my back three windows and 16% on driver and passenger windows. I was in an accident and while the cop was there talking to me, my passenger starts talking about how nice the dark windows look on my car. The cop looked over at my car and agreed!

When I got my tint I was told they would only do 27%. It's pretty weak. I'm an idiot for agreeing to it. You could go darker in Mass in which I had 20%(not bad). It seems that tint doesn't matter too much to cops out here so just find a place that will do a dark tint. It shouldn't be 27% if we're a mile high here!!! It doesn't make sense.
