I'm supposed to be making my Rally debut there, but becuse I've been REALLY lazy these last few months, I'll probably just be spectating again.

This will be my fourth year there. I still have all my old maps and stuff from the past few years. Get in touch with me if you'd like... if you've never been there before I could point out some good spectator points and let you in on a few other tips that may be helpful.

Cool! I'm actually about a minute out of your way if you come up through MI. Maybe We can meet up or something. This will be my second rally spectated. I'll have to get a better camera before then.

I actually come up through Wisconsin... up 45. I try to get there fairly early Friday (by noon, or so), so I'm sure there is somewhere we can meet. The thing that sucks (for me anyways) is that the first day/nights stages are actually run about 40 miles south of Houghton. So I end up driving through the area where all the action is... only to hang out in Houghton for a little bit before back-tracking by an hour. It's worth it, though.

What was the other rally you went to? Sno*Drift? I was at that one too.

Pete was at Cherokee Trails with the Southeast crew, that was in the midst of his move from South Carolina to Illinois.

I'm marking my calendar, Pete. I'll see you there.

as stated in MW forums, I will be there. Last year I used the DeLorme, Atlas&Gazetter for Michigan to get to all of Sundays stages. On the last stage (Gratiot) of the weekend I drove it. That was big fun, but I did have to be carefull not hurt the undercarriage with the errant big rock. Meeting up would be fun.

Default THe crew

Well, It looks like, including Porter and his roomie, I will have a crew of six or so friends up there. We'll be easy to spot! Just look for the scoobie with the 2 4000's on the front folowed by a Dodge truck with lotsa lights and a silver Focus with 4 500's. We like our TSD rally in NY
