Default TS wagon owners can use a trunk light

I noticed after coming home from the dealer that my TS wagon didn't have a trunk light, and was disappointed because the OBS and WRX wagon do. Well, on a hunch I ordered the trunk light replacement from one of the parts stores (under $20) and found out you can easily install it despite SOA's official response that there is no trunk light available for the wagon.

Just use a knife and punch a hole in the indentation part of the right side of your trunk, which is the same size as the replacement trunk light, and you'll find a spare outlet to plug it into. You will have to remove a couple grommets and pull back the upolstry by the lid to cut the outlet free. Really simple and nice to have. I may try the map lights next.

Thank you very much for the info, I find it quite useful, maybe I'll do the same later.

Is it possible to have a photo about where it is?
I was thinking about that for a long time!

Thanks!

I'll try to see if I have a camera handly.

The part number of the lamp seems to be 784671050 by the way. I only cut a small hole about half an inch by two-thirds of an inch and the jutting part of the lamp fits snuggly in it.
