Default Opinions on Superleggeras?

Hey everyone,

Found a used set for a pretty good price, so I want to get some opinions. I tried searching, but there were mixed answers.

How is the quality of these wheels? I don't autocross or anything, just want to know how they stand up to regular driving (i.e. potholes). Some posts I found said they were really soft wheels, and some said they're really strong? I dunno, any opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

Forgot to ask...any tips on buying a set of used wheels? Main thing I'm worried about is if the rims are or were bent in the past. Is it easy to spot if they attempted to fix it (sorry, noob question)?

I've had a set for just under a year. The roads here in NOVA are pretty good but I have hit a couple nasty potholes with my SL's and I haven't had a problem yet.

For the second part of your post:

I've had rims professionally fixed. For mine, there was slightly different colored paint on the inside of the rim. If someone were to have had the rims re-painted or powerdercoated, then you wouldn't see this. I'm of the opinion that if the rim was correctly fixed, it is pretty much as good as new.
