whats the secret? watch your boost gauge, give your car enough gas to goto .0 (no boost no vaccum) and shift around 3000rpm. sometimes its better to rev a pinch higher and give it a little less gas. its a little slow getting around, but if im in a rush, ive got 17psi on tap.

actually, if im in a rush ive got 8psi on tap. gas is 2.79 a gallon now, f that haha
ha. try 4.00 now...

13-14 MPG is not because of aggressive driving... that's horrible mileage and something needs to be addressed.

Do you guys still have your intake silencers on? I took mine off a while ago and noticed a drop in mpg but didn't care. now that I have a longer commute I'm thinking i should put it back on.

2003 WRX Wagon

I purchased my 03' WRX Wagon with 125,000 and it only got about 15-18MPG. But after installing a K&N Drop in filter, cleaning the intake box, throttle body, and checking all of my hoses and lines were properly hooked up and in good condition, my MPG Changed to 22-28MPG. The intake was extremely dirty, and the throttle body did need a good cleaning.
