Default STi rims on WRX - tire size recomendation?

I am going to be putting stock STi rims on my WRX. i was just wondering what tire size would be the best for this application? Keep in mind that i am not planning on using these in the winter.

Should i run a 225/40/17, 225/45/17, 235/40/17, or 235/45/17.

Right now - i am running the stock 205/55/16 - i know that if i run a 40/17, i will be a few mm lower - and with a 45/17, a few mm higher then stock. I doubt a few mm will not throw off my spedo hardly at all, but if anyone has any suggestions, it is greatly appreciated.

235/40/17 - a bit wider and a little shorter gearing is great for the WRX. Speedo will be off a very little bit, but nothing worth worrying about. If you are worried about that, get 225/45/17.

225/45-17's are the same size as the stock 205/55-16 thay are both about 24.90 inchs diameter. if you go 235's get 40 series to get 24.4 diameter. these are closest to stock but you probably wont even notice.

If it's the 04' BBS wheel, there's only a limit number of 235/40/17's you could fit b/c it's a 7.5 width. I know the 05' with 8 width can accomodate 40 series. I know this much b/c I tried so damn hard to get 235/40's for mine
But please correct me if I'm wrong.
