Default Irwindale results 09/08/05

started off pretty slow I was a bit disapointed with my times, I think it was just me being rusty...

first decent run

okay I thought at least my trap speed is about 1 whoopin mph faster, there was a lil headwind so I was hoping that was the case, I knew the car was faster and kept trying

next run

now I'm going ***! I should be doing 8.3's so I keep trying

so I was upset I had yet another 8.4, but I was stoked at my 82.31 trap speed. It meant if I got my head outta my butt I could pull an 8.2X now I was determined.

next run was solo one lane was being repaired.

WOOOOOT finally did it. I was stoked.

decided to try to get deeper into 8.20's and kept goin.

another this time was against an evo8 MR with catless exhaust & retuned ecu said he put down 290whp and 290wtq.
my run

his run
67.60mph he missed 3rd and gave up.

we were suppsed to race on my 8.29 run but since the lane was garbage we both ran our best solo runs of the night, he went 8.3X @ 83mph with a 1.8 60'. had we both raced it would of been a very close race, the cars would of been side by side.

so last run

kinda dissapointed it seems my 1-2 shift was a lil slower, had it been as good as the first 8.29 it would of made this run a 8.24, but none the less happy to back up my 8.29 with another 8.29, and the 82.86 mph trap means the dp & intake added about 2.3mph to my 1/8 trapspeeds and dropped my 1/8 times from a best 8.44 to 8.29, about 0.15 seconds, but it had the potential to drop 0.20, I just couldn't do it last night.

oh forgot mods.

K&N tyhpoon cai.
b&b catless dp.
