Default OEM Sti intercooler spray button- used with Nitrous?

I ordered an NX ntercooler spray kit. I'm wondering, is there any way possible to use the STI water cooler spray button?

yea, I dont know much about the STI water spray button, or the kit you bought, but if its the same type of switch, in this case a botton theres no reason why it wont work. You might have to solder the leads on though. Get a voltmeter and play around with the leads on the STI switch and compare them the the switch that came in you kit to figure out where each lead should connent.

Yeah. I had mine hooked to the CryO2. There is a lead that'll test 12v IIRC when the button is pushed. It doesn't stay 12 during the 3 or 4 seconds that the spray activates either, so a solenoid/relay hooked to it only opens while you press the button.

interesting as I have been thinking about that as well. but reaching for the button that far sucks. That is why I remounted my hid adjustment to the center console near the mirror.
