Default Fuel Filter

I want to change out my fuel filter on my 1993 Impreza. Is it at the tank, or in the frame rail near the drivers side front tire? I looked around the front and couldn’t see it. I think the Legacy is at the tank though. I wish fuel filters were painted bright red and had neon lights. Any ideas? Thanks.

Lightbulb Both Legacy's I had Drivers side on top.

On both of the Legacy's I had '98 and '03 they were RIGHT in fromnt of the master Cyl. on the drivers side strut tower. Someone can chime in for Imprezas.

00 obs, same as the 99... not that that's much help.

follow that fuel line around..

i know it involves an extra trip for most people(i work there), but your library is likely to have the complete set of service manuals for yr car, as well as bs haynes, chilton and related mitchell manuals. copiers, too.

lots of good reading when i'm supposed to be doing something else
