I've got some leather driving gloves for winter, but unless it's really cold outside, I don't wear any kind of gloves.

If it is super cold out, I'll put 'em on.

Yeah, I'm gonna be loving the metal bits freezing my hand off when I grab my momo shift knob this winter. D'oh!!

This summer I was sweating my...., well I was really hot, must have been over 95 and I wish I had some gloves for just this reason. was ripping the duffy lake road past pemberton in a 61 Alfa Romeo SS, had to slow down now and then to hold a hand out the window to dry off sweaty palms. Was a great drive though.

I used to with my old car....I kept it outside and the driver side window didnt close all the way so the pleather wrapped steering wheel disintigrated (sp?) a little bit each time I touched it when it was really cold out. this is my first winter with the WRX and it'll be kept in the garage at night, so hopefully I wont need gloves

I must be the minority when it comes to this. I wear a pair of Sparco karting gloves whenever I drive the WRX [didn't buy them for this purpose, but might as well use them when I'm not karting or autocrossing], whether it's 100*F or 45*F outside. I get some strange looks sometimes, but I have a metal shift knob as well which justifies the use of the gloves.

Plus, it feels kinda cool to "suit up" every time you hop into the car.

Only when it's freezing cold and even then I'll take them off after the car gets warm inside.

Would never do it unless it was really really cold in the car and once it warmed up they would come right off.

Yep. Winters in Wisconsin can get pur0tee cold. I'll usually start out wearing fleece Windstopper gloves, ski gloves, or mittens, depending on temperature and whatever activity i'm pursuing. And yes, when the car warms up, the hand gear comes off, and the jacket gets unzipped. If it's a longer trip, the jacket gets removed.

I have these:

but I only wear them when it's TIME TO GET SERIOUS!!! (which it was when I took that picture)

I also wear them at work to pick up chicks.

I have a sweet pair of nike thermafit fleece gloves with grip pads that got me to high school with warm hands in Montana. I always seemed to be in a hurry in the mornings so my car wasn't warm until at least halfway there.
